OUR COMPANY Since 1998, CLEARS Inc. has been a full-service employment background screening, tenant screening, and credit reporting company, serving employers and property owners and managers throughout the United States.
We serve small clients as well as clients with multi-state operations, and have the capability to provide any legitimate background screening services in any state in the United States, Canada, Australia, and Puerto Rico. We HAVE clients from Oregon to Georgia, and from San Diego to New York.
Within the United States, distance is not a factor in our ability to provide service.
CLEARS Inc. was founded on the following premises, which remain our guiding principles:

CLEARS Inc. is a member of the Better Business Bureau, the Better Business Bureau Online Reliability program, and is an authorized credit bureau reseller.
BACKGROUND AND SOURCES Our information sources are the most complete and accurate available. We use "direct sourcing," where appropriate (obtained by direct search of the records of governmental agencies). We use private, proprietary databases for out-of-area tenant screening, and, when requested, for employment screening.
Many of the companies which advertise on the internet and elsewhere exclusively use such proprietary databases, which may, or may not be, better than nothing. HERE'S HOW YOU CAN TELL-EVERY company which does an actual search of the records will make a point of telling you so.
